Privacy Policy

    Plain English summary: We collect your email address only when you choose to give it — to unlock Pro features or join our waitlist. We don't sell it. We don't share it with advertisers. We store it via Formspree (a US-based service). You can ask us to delete it anytime.
  

1. Who We Are

Unigra ("we", "us", "our") is a web-based text styling and content tool available at unigra.io. Unigra is an independent product. For questions about this policy, contact us at: hello@unigra.io

2. What Data We Collect

We only collect data that you actively provide to us. We do not use tracking pixels, advertising scripts, or behavioural analytics.

Email address — collected when you sign up for the Pro waitlist, unlock a Pro font style, or unlock the Hook Generator. This is voluntary.
Usage preferences — stored locally in your browser (your theme preference, favourite styles, recently copied styles). This data never leaves your device.
Server logs — Netlify (our hosting provider) automatically records request logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. We do not access these for marketing purposes.

3. How We Use Your Email

Your email address is used solely for:

Notifying you when Unigra Pro launches
Sending your launch discount (50% off, first 50 subscribers)
Occasional product updates about new Unigra tools (infrequent)

We will never use your email for advertising, third-party promotions, or sell it to any party.

4. How We Store Your Data

Email submissions are processed and stored by Formspree (formspree.io), a third-party form service based in the United States. By submitting your email, you acknowledge that it will be stored on Formspree's servers under their Privacy Policy.

Your in-browser preferences (theme, favourites, recently copied) are stored entirely on your own device using browser localStorage, sessionStorage, and cookies. We cannot access this data.

5. Cookies

Unigra uses cookies solely to remember your preferences across visits:

un-theme — stores your dark/light mode preference
un-email-key — remembers that you've signed up (so you aren't asked again)
un-pro-used — tracks how many free copies of Pro styles you've used
un-favs — stores your saved favourite styles
un-recent — stores your recently copied styles

These cookies are functional, not advertising cookies. They contain no personal information. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used on Unigra.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & India DPDP Act)

Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:

Access — request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
Deletion — request that we delete your email from our records
Correction — request that we correct inaccurate data
Opt-out — unsubscribe from any communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@unigra.io with the subject line "Data Request". We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data Retention

We retain email addresses on our Pro waitlist until you ask us to remove you, or until 12 months after Pro launches (whichever comes first), at which point all non-subscriber emails will be deleted.

8. Children's Privacy

Unigra is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted their email to us, contact us at hello@unigra.io and we will delete it immediately.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Unigra after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
